Open resources is what you most likely need to start with. You get access to the “compute” and “short” partitions on Deigo, as well as “test-gpu” and “intel” on Saion. You typically get access within one working day, and often much quicker.
Restricted Resources include the GPU partitions on Saion and the large-memory partitions on Deigo. You need to apply for each resource, and we will ask to met with you about your request before we grant access.
The LargeJob partition is special. It gives you access to a large number (>6000) of cores for a single job for up to two days on Deigo. The unit leader needs to apply for their unit members; you can’t apply for yourself.
As a unit leader you can ask for more Bucket storage; get access to member files on Bucket, Flash and Work; and ask us to archive research data. Storage Applications.
